Ø  OUR LEATHERS

In our workshops, we manufacture bags and accessories from Novonappa full-grain calf leather from the Haas tannery in Alsace.

The Haas tannery, dating from 1842, is one of the five remaining calf tanneries in France. From Longchamp to Hermès, including Dior and Chanel, Tanneries Haas supplies the biggest French fashion houses.

The Novonappa leather we use is a supple full-grain calf leather produced using a double tanning process (chrome then vegetable), followed by hot air drumming, which gives this leather suppleness, softness and the ability to develop a patina over time. This leather requires high-quality raw material. These are mainly French calves which have a resistant fibre structure, and only 30% of the purchased hides are suitable for this use.

Ø  OUR BUCKLES

We primarily use buckles from Maison Poursin in Paris.
This prestigious French company, dating back to 1830, is one of the oldest manufacturers of buckles and metal items for leather goods and saddlery.
Their pieces are mainly made of brass and are manufactured in France.

Ø  CARE OF OUR BAGS AND ACCESSORIES

This magnificent leather is supple, soft and has the ability to develop a patina over time. It therefore requires no special care products.

Simply use a soft, slightly damp cloth for marks or scratches.
